As a lifelong Thornbury boy and lead reporter for the Thornbury Gazette, I like to think I have the finger on the pulse of what goes on in our community to bring you the headlines hot off the press.

I became a reporter a little later than most in the profession. I left Castle School to pursue a career in Mathematics, but after University, I felt my calling was still waiting out there, so I eventually went back to study journalism.

I've had experience in a range of newsrooms, from BBC and ITV to the Bath Chronicle and our very own Gazette.   I live for local news and I'm always off trying to unearth more!
