More Information (Thornbury Radio - Your Choice. Your Voice. is not responsible for external websites)
Join them for a friendly discussion to explore locally-owned renewable energy opportunities, with a free buffet and plenty of time for questions. Everyone is welcome – families, neighbours, curious minds.
As funding is now available, communities can explore the technical and business case for locally-owned energy developments in the area. This workshop is part of a series of conversations that have been ongoing since 2024. They are looking at possible next steps, if the community is in support.
This meeting will cover the following topics:
• Community energy and how it works in practice
• The benefits for the Thornbury community
• Discussion of your views on community energy
• Additional technical information about possible areas of interest
• If appropriate, a discussion on which locations you would consider suitable for a renewable energy project that is community-owned
• Summary of next steps and opportunities for Thornbury
Join them in-person OR online!
