Looking for a truly unforgettable evening under the open sky? Glow Swims at The Lake offer a unique way to experience the water after dark. Swimmers glide across crystal-clear, limestone-filtered waters using illuminated tow floats, transforming the quarry into a glowing constellation beneath the stars.
Swimmer safety is the top priority, with every wave supervised by a dedicated water safety team and fully lifeguarded within marked swim courses. Once you are out of the water, you can head over to the recovery area to warm up by the fire pit, relax in the on-site sauna, or treat yourself to a hot drink from the food wagon.
Sessions are open to swimmers aged sixteen and over. You will need your own illuminated tow float, and both wetsuits and skins swimmers are warmly welcomed. With changing facilities and on-site parking available, The Lake is conveniently in Cromhall just of J14. Spaces per wave are strictly capped to keep things peaceful and safe, so be sure to book your slot in advance online.
