Volunteers required to install the Christmas lights on and around the High Street from 28th September 2025 onwards to ensure Thornbury is ready for the TCLA Switch-On event

It’s that time of year again where the Thornbury Christmas Lights Association are seeking helpers to put up the lights around our town. From Sunday 28th September 2025 between 8am-12pm, meeting at The Wheatsheaf pub, help is required to test lights, climb and foot ladders to put up lights along shop fronts on the high street.
The work takes place each Sunday through to the end of November - there still might be odd bits to do after switch-on. Any help is appreciated!
The TCLA are all volunteers and without support from our local residents we won’t be able to make our town look great for the festive period and big switch on!
