May is ‘Mix Month’ on the JTP Theatre Hour
19th May 2026 – The Midsomerset Festival Short Story winner 2026 ‘The Curious Case of the Man and the Watch’ is delivered by Tony Domaille.
26th May 2026 – A chance to hear a review of JTP Theatre’s latest stage production ‘It’s What Matters’ from local dramatist Barbie Davies.
The theme for June on the JTP Theatre Hour is ‘Age Doesn’t Come Alone’. Five pieces that look at later life.
2nd June 2026 – Tony Domaille reads the title story from his short story collection, Indian Summer Sunshine.
9th June 2026 – Rachel Howgego features in ‘Eleanor Rigby’, a monologue which tells why she is one of all the lonely people.
16th June 2026 – ‘Hello Stranger’ is a one act drama from the pen of Tony Domaille. Douglas suffers from dementia while his grandson struggles to care for him.
23rd June 2026 – ‘Autumn’. Chris Holland delivers this monologue with a man wondering where all the years have gone.
30th June 2026 – Tony Domaille reads his Mid-Somerset Festival winning story, ‘Finally the Ducks’, a tale of friendship late in life.
Journeyman Theatre Productions (JTP Theatre) was formed in 2014 by Jon, Tony, and Phil Domaille with a view to performing new work at Festivals, One Act competitions, and other events.
JTP Theatre have become known for their Bite Size plays, performed in hotels, cafes and pubs. They also feature regularly on BBC Radio Bristol. Their original short plays include the award nominated and award-winning Pet Rescue, The Gods, Members of the Jury, A Price to Pay, Time Travel Agent, Apocalypse Then, My Hero, House Hunting and When All Around You.
JTP Theatre is a multi-award-winning group at the Avon Short Play Festival Competition, having won awards for acting, directing, production and Best Original Script. In 2023, Tony Domaille’s Even Numbers won the UK CDFF Geoffrey Whitworth Trophy and the NDFA Derek Jacobi Award for Playwriting.
