    We are delighted to bring this powerful period romance, 'The History of Sound' to The Armstrong as part of our regular Cinema Club.

    Directed by Ben Shattuck, and set during WWI, the story follows two young men set out to record the lives, voices and music of their American countrymen. The film is written by Ben Shattuck who adapted his short stories "The History of Sound" and "Origin Stories".
    Features BAFTA Award-winner Paul Mescal (of Hamnet and Normal People) and BIFA Best Actor Josh O'Connor (of The Crown and The Mastermind).
    Our Foyer bar will be open throughout the evening for drinks, ice cream and snacks.
