    February is Valentines month on the Journeyman Hour. All the plays are from the pen of local writer Tony Domaille with the talented actors of JTP Theatre delivering.

    17th February 2026 – 'Blind Date'. Phil Domaille and Catherine Hamilton play a couple whose date night isn’t at all what they hoped for.

    24th February 2026 – 'My Hero'. In this award-winning short comedy, a couple of superheroes find their marriage is on the rocks, and Hero Man does his best to convince Increda Woman that they can make things right.

     

    March is Drama Month on the Journeyman Hour.

    3rd March 2026 - Tony Domaille’s short drama ‘I Was a Sailor, You Were a Pirate’, first produced by Filmaday Productions and featuring Conor Copernicus and Fabio Cicala.  

    10th March 2026 - ‘The Added Bonus of an Off Switch’. Claire Jaggard reads her short story published by the Bristol School of Writing.

    17th March 2026 -  ‘The Wall’. Nigel Lane features in Tony Domaille’s award-winning monologue about a father and son.

    24th March 2026 - Phil Domaille, Lynne Cartlidge and Tony Domaille feature in Tony’s 2021 Café Lit Script Challenge winner, ‘Star Gazing’ about a man who dreams of seeing all the best stage shows.

    31st March 2026 - An interview with JTP Theatre director Phil Domaille about the group’s upcoming stage production of ‘It’s What Matters’.  A heartwarming comedy coming to the Thornbury’s Cossham Hall  7th – 9th May 2026.

                                           

    Journeyman Theatre Productions (JTP Theatre) was formed in 2014 by Jon, Tony, and Phil Domaille with a view to performing new work at Festivals, One Act competitions, and other events.

    JTP Theatre have become known for their Bite Size plays, performed in hotels, cafes and pubs. They also feature regularly on BBC Radio Bristol. Their original short plays include the award nominated and award-winning Pet Rescue, The Gods, Members of the Jury, A Price to Pay, Time Travel Agent, Apocalypse Then, My Hero, House Hunting and When All Around You.

    JTP Theatre is a multi-award-winning group at the Avon Short Play Festival Competition, having won awards for acting, directing, production and Best Original Script. In 2023, Tony Domaille’s Even Numbers won the UK CDFF Geoffrey Whitworth Trophy and the NDFA Derek Jacobi Award for Playwriting.
